Hello,

My name is Doug Fountain and I have been tattooing in Jacksonville, NC for about 11 years. I specialize in lettering and black & grey work. My dedication to these styles has earned me recognition and awards, particularly for my lettering tattoos. 

I opened Dark Artisan Tattoo using my years of experience through trial and error. Once upon a time, this location had a different name. About 10 years ago I worked here, and was let go because they were no longer interested in  apprentices. Now I own the place. Fuck em.
